dibaryon in the extended quark - delocalization , color - screening model
نویسنده
چکیده
The quark-delocalization, color-screening model (QDCSM), extended by inclusion of a one-pion-exchange (OPE) tail, is applied to the study of the deuteron and the d dibaryon. The results show that the properties of the deuteron (an extended object) are well reproduced, greatly improving the agreement with experimental data as compared to our previous study (without OPE). At the same time, the mass and decay width of the d (a compact object) are, as expected, not altered significantly. Typeset using REVTEX 0

Quark delocalization, color screening, and dibaryons.
The quark delocalization and color screening model, a quark potential model, is used for a systematic search of dibaryon candidates in the u, d and s three flavor world. Color screening which appears in unquenched lattice gauge calculations and quark delocalization (which is similar to electron delocalization in molecular physics) are both included. Flavor symmetry breaking and channel coupling...
متن کاملQuark delocalization, color screening, and nuclear intermediate range attraction.
We consider the effect of including quark delocalization and color screening, in the nonrelativistic quark cluster model, on baryon-baryon potentials and phase shifts. We find that the inclusion of these additional effects allows a good qualitative description of both.
متن کاملDeltaron Dibaryon Structure in Chiral Su(3) Quark Model
We discuss the structure of Deltaron dibaryon in the chiral SU (3) quark model. The energy of Deltaron is obtained by considering the coupling of the ∆∆ and CC (hidden color) channels. The effects of various parameters on the Deltaron mass are also studied. It is shown that the mass of Deltaron is lower than the mass of ∆∆ but higher than the mass of ∆N π.
متن کاملDibaryons in the Quark Cluster Model
In the framework of RGM , the binding energy of one channel ∆∆ (3,0) (d *) and ∆∆ (0,3) are studied in the chiral SU (3) quark cluster model. It is shown that the binding energies of the systems are a few tens of MeV. The behavior of the chiral field is also investigated by comparing the results with those in the SU (2) and the extended SU (2) chiral quark models. It is found that the symmetry ...
متن کاملCan Doubly Strange Dibaryon Resonances be Discovered at RHIC?
The baryon-baryon continuum invariant mass spectrum generated from ultrarelativistic nucleus + nucleus collision data may reveal the existence of doubly-strange dibaryons not stable against strong decay if they lie within a few MeV of threshold. Furthermore, since the dominant component of these states is a superposition of two color-octet clusters which can be produced intermediately in a colo...
